Viewing Modes & Troubleshooting Guide

Select the mode that matches your display equipment or viewing preferences.

Viewing Mode Requirements

• Sumo Mode (Top-and-Bottom 3D): Requires a 16:9 screen to align and scale correctly.
• Basketball Mode (Half Side-by-Side 3D): Requires either a 16:9 screen OR a phone VR headset paired with the specific calibration app designed for that headset.
• Noir 3D Mode (Monochrome Anaglyph): Works on any screen, but requires pure red / pure cyan glasses.
  Note: DuBois-optimized or color-corrected glasses will not display this mode correctly. Standard pure red/cyan filters are required.
• Left Eye / Right Eye (2D Modes): Universal compatibility. These extract a single eye's view and work on any device, aspect ratio, or screen orientation.

General Compatibility

Unless noted under the specific 3D modes above, standard 2D viewing is designed to work across all device types, orientations, and display ratios without manual configuration.
